Fridays in June, Sounding Sculpture Concerts, 3-4 PM – Free   

Experience something different by visiting the Harry Bertoia Foundation gallery for an uncommon experience of Sonambient!

Start by strumming the Sonambient sculptures. Let the kids play the tonals of the “petting zoo.” Strike up a conversation with the artist’s daughter Celia Bertoia to hear about a successful sculptor’s story. Finally, relax in the midcentury modern Diamond chair while the host plays a sounding sculpture concert. Experience modern abstract art usually only found in east coast museums, but the kind that you can actually relate to. Bring the kids or make it the start of an unusual date night.
