Rochester Institute of Technology Dandelion Grand Opening of the recently conserved 7 monumental dandelion sculptures that were once displayed at the New York 1964 World’s Fair at the Kodak pavilion. While refurbishing the gold plating proved too difficult and costly, the cleaned bronze wires will shimmer in their own right.

Later the same day, Oct. 29, a viewing of the documentary Harry Bertoia, Master of Metal, will grace the screen. Celia Bertoia will introduce the documentary, for which she served as producer, and be joined by members of the Dandelion restoration project team for a Q-and-A with refreshments after the screening.
